Thanks Clive, nice piece of kit and nice gesture! The rear damper has already been designed by Bilstein to suit our existing swingarm which will work fine for the job so I won’t take you up on the offer.
Our analysis and simulations show that this kind of racing (land speed record) is far less demanding on keeping the weight down than road racing so the steel job we have will do fine. There’s also no cornering forces to flex the swingarm (unless I get in real DEEP shit) so swingarm flex is also not an issue.
